Loose motions may occur sometimes due to stomach infection or some ingredient which is not good for your stomach. Here are some of the things you should avoid while you are suffering from loose motions so that your condition gets better.

2. Milk, Butter, Cheese and Ice creams
Even if your loose motions are not because of lactose intolerance i.e. the difficulty to process the sugar lactose found in dairy products, you should stay away from milk products. This is just for some time. Also, pro-biotic yogurt is an exception to this.
While you have loose motions, you should avoid food and beverages which may cause you to lose fluids. Alcohol and all caffeine products like coffee act as diuretics i.e. they dehydrate and hence should be avoided.
4. Sorbitol And Artificial Sweeteners
You should avoid sugar substitutes while you are suffering from loose motions. Also, according to some doctors artificial sweeteners cause a laxative effect on the digestive system. So if you have loose motions you should avoid candy, gums and soft drinks.
5. Excess Gas Foods
You should avoid foods that cause excess gas and eat a generous amount of fruits and vegetables. Some of the vegetables you should avoid which may cause gas in your stomach are- cabbage, beans.Broccoli and cauliflower; better avoid them until you feel better.
6. Tainted Foods
Try to stay away from food which may be out of the refrigerator for long or was improperly stored. Also, avoid raw meat or fish as they may be problematic. Try to follow the old expression i.e. “When in doubt, throw it out” and you may save yourself from all your stomach problems.
