Here is a list based on personal experiences of individuals now in their 30’s about things they wished they knew earlier. So read and start practicing these so that you do not have any regrets later in your life.
1. Read , read and read some more
Learn something new everyday. Read whatever you have a slightest interest in . It could be any genre- science fiction , psychology , philosophy , biographies. Just read . Reading is the best mental exercise that expand your mind by providing you with ideas, opinions, experience which have the power to question and possibly change your perspective towards life. By adopting the habit of reading you are strengthening your mind by constantly providing it with new inputs.
2. Travel a lot.
Travel places far and wide around the world . Take the vacation you always wished to but were too busy to take . This is the time . Travel alone if you must. Travelling is the best way to get in touch with new people , culture, experience. So book your ticket , pack your bags and just GO.
3. Take care of your body.
A body and mind is all you are equipped with . So you better start to show some respect towards it. Develop routines that would benefit you for a long time to come. Like waking up early in the morning , Practicing meditation/yoga , Working out , Keeping a healthy diet , etc etc
