By the looks of it, Baar Baar Dekho seemed like a movie who was trying out something new. Delving into uncharted territories, where Bollywood has never been before. Just the trailer had left people thrilled and excited to watch the full deal.
But no matter how much efforts were put into making this film, it turned out to be a complete disaster, leaving critics and audiences utterly disappointed.
Here are 10 things that popped into audiences’ mind while watching the movie.
1. No Need For Baar Baar Dekho
Nope. Absolutely no need for that. Since they gave away half of the movie’s plot in the first 10 minutes of the movie.
2. And What’s Up With The Accent, Katrina ??
Though Kat manages to look stunning from the beginning to the end, she needs to work a lot upon her dialogue delivery.
3. Sidharth Looks As Baffled As The Audience
Sidharth keeps going back and forth in the movie. No wonder he carries the same confused expressions throughout the whole experience.
4. Though Katrina Does A Pretty Decent Job
Did you know she was made to attend acting workshops for her role in the movie ?
5. Did They Ever Marry, Did They Got Divorced ? What Exactly Are These Two Doing ?
You’ll be questioning the relationship status of these two throughout the film.
6. And Where Exactly Is The Plot ?
Setting aside the hype, the movie turned out to be a pathetic viewing experience for the audience.
7. Is It All In The Dhaaga, The Pandit Or Is It Just A Dream ??
What’s exactly causing the time travel ? You’ll be left wondering these questions till the interval.
8. The Worst Ending
The movie probably has the worst ending you’d see in the sci-fi genre. Even by Bollywood standards.
9. Audiences Waited For Kaala Chashma All Along
At one point, the only thing keeping audiences inside the theater was to see “Kaala Chashma” on the big screen.
10. Ek Baar Dekhna Is Tough Enough
140 minutes of logical loopholes, stupid ending and no plot made the movie unbearable for first time viewers. Also, watching it more than once carries a high risk of you loosing your sanity.
And to think that we were hoping so much from this film !! Maybe, Bollywood should just stick to the regular rom-coms, and leave the science fiction part for professionals.
